Fred Whitburn of Leonard Street purchases 37.4 acres of land in Leeds.

March 21 Will of Fred Whitburn filed with court.

March 28 Fred Whitburn dies at Linda Manor Nursing Home.
March 31 Richard LaRose files will of Fred Whitburn and petition probate court to be executor.
April 16 Order of notice return to court

Richard LaRose executes an inventory of estate; Beaver Brook Nominee Trust formed.

Charles H. Dauchy does wetland assessment.
Sept. 25 Richard LaRose sells property to Beaver Brook Nominee Trust.

Plan of wetlands on parcel filed by John Hanley.
Nov. 23 Conservation Commission approves wetland delineation.

March 18 Richard LaRose dies in Cooley Dickinson Hospital.
April 8 Original plans filed by developer, John Hanley, done by Killam Associates of Hadley.
April 27 27 unit proposal disapproved by Planning Board after negative DPW evaluation of project.

July 2 Three representatives of Yankee Hill Conservation Group meet with developer and his attorney at city hall
2000
Jan. 14 John Hanley purchases 12 adjacent acres from John F. Skibiski Partnership for $162,500. March John Hanley presents new plans in informal meeting with city boards and agencies (planning, DPW, fire, police and board of public health).
April 12 John Hanley buys 3.9 acres of land sought by the city for conservation purposes from the FDIC for $3,136.
Dec. 15 Developer submits three preliminary plans to the planning department, two of which involve putting a road through the development from Route 9 to Grove Avenue.
2001
Feb. 2 Planning board approves Beaver Brook Nominee Trust's Plan 2, which provides for 49 lots, and connects Grove Avenue with Route 9.
